The Inside Sales Representative is accountable for achieving profitable sales and providing excellent customer service (as established in the department scorecard) via inbound and outbound calls to ensure the successful achievement of company objectives and growth.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Achieve goals and objectives of the customer service business unit as stated in department scorecard

· Maximize sales, market penetration and customer satisfaction

· Maintain accurate and up to date files and information

· Utilize sales skills to probe and build orders to outbound and inbound customers

· Responsible for sustaining and continuing product knowledge of existing and new products and applications

· Provide accurate and timely pricing and product support to customers, outside sales personnel, distributors and reps. This would include lead times, pricing, confirmation of purchase orders, engineering and manufacturing developments affecting customer orders, etc.

· Coordinate with inside sales manager, engineering and materials groups to provide customers with the best possible solutions to meet their requirements

· Knowledge and coordination of commercial requirements domestically and internationally

· Accurate and timely order entry

· Understanding and following of department and company procedures

· Participate in special projects as set forth by management

Qualifications & Education

· Bachelors Degree- Mechanical/Chemical Engineering Preferred

· Lives the values of integrity, trust and responsibility with respect for others

· Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and solid mechanical knowledge

· Good computer skills. Including Microsoft Word and Excel

· Ability to review and understand customer order requirements

· 3 years+ customer service experience in related field

· Process oil/gas industry or previous valve experience a plus

· Ability to acquire leadership and teamwork skills
