Responsibilities:
- Conduct radiography tests in accordance with written company procedures
- Prepare test specimens, setup, and adjust test equipment
- Experience utilizing industry specifications such as: ASME, API, and AWS with testing codes and standards and possess the ability to interpret codes and specifications
- Ability to accurately analyze and interpret test data with the ability to report the test results in a clear and well written manner
- Maintain related test equipment and tools in good working condition
- Complete assigned tasks in a safe and efficient manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Able to meet requirements ASNT TC1A as an NDE Level 2 technician
- High School diploma
- State RT certified, and having other method certs are a plus
- Approved 40-hour Radiation Safety
- ASNT Level I and Level II class room hours and recorded on the job training hours
- Transportation Worker Identification Card (TWIC)
- State issued driver license with a clean driving record
- Possess great organizational skills with the demonstrated ability to document NDT results well
- Provide insight on technique development
- Comfortability with heights
- Ability to work in team environment
- Demonstrate a commitment to safety
- DISA certified (background, drug, alcohol)
- Self‐motivated with good written and verbal communication skills
- Maintain a positive relationship between client, facility, and customers
- Capable of lifting and carrying a minimum of 50lbs
- Willing and able to climb and/or work from ladders or scaffolding
- Computer literate, proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, & Excel)
- Able to generate basic drawings / sketches
Applicants will also have to pass Weld Spec NDE testing per ASNT TC 1A and verify prior documentation of certifications.
